Initially, I would like to meet in person and tour your property. This allows me to not only see your home, which will allow me to properly evaluate its value, but also allows me to learn about your style and personality and why you are thinking of selling. It’s a great time for you to share your goals for your home as you prepare to put it on the market, and we get to know each other. I will share a comprehensive market analysis, my go-to-market strategy, and the valuable tactics available with Iowa Realty. At this point, I will be honored to come to agreement on listing your home.
This is the stage where I spend time with you evaluating the readiness of your property for the market. Of course, our goal in all of this is to make your property stand out to ensure that you receive the highest offers that will, in turn, help you reach your goals. During this time, we identify things that can be done from a decorative and/or systems standpoint to ready your home for sale.

It’s a proven fact that staging—or decorating a home — with proper furniture and aesthetic appeal directly translates to a property receiving more and better offers. I will work with you to make sure your property is properly staged for potential buyers to see.
This is the part of the process where an offer…or offers… have been written and submitted for your review. Again, I will be there to coordinate the receipt of offers and communicate them with you in a proactive, timely way. The highest offer is not always the right offer! We will strategically review each element that is important to the strength of an offer to make it to the closing table. I’ll make sure you understand each element clearly!
Whether a competitive market, or a seller-friendly market, there is always negotiation needed to make sure you receive an equitable and fair deal. I will be a professional and ethical resource for you to help you consider the offers you receive and to coordinate and handle the offer/counter-offer process.

Once the offer has been selected and approved by you, I will help you through the home stretch of the process to ensure that all elements are in place for a successful closing day … that moment where you receive your payment for your property, and you move ahead to the next milestone in life!
